Biography:

First Class Land Economy (Economics, Law, Real Estate) Graduate from the University of Cambridge. Graduated from the international Baccalaureate with a 43/45 in 2018. Have 400+ hours of tutoring experience, mainly focused on Economics, Mathematics and Biology.

Approach to Tutoring:

I start lessons with some active recall based questions from a previous lesson / assigned reading. I continue with verbal explanations, visual demonstrations (e.g. Zoom whiteboard) and keep asking questions throughout to ensure understanding. I usually focus on a mix of understanding the subject theory well and being able to write strong essays / answer questions for exams. I adapt for students needs by gauging their understanding and grasp of the subject through asking questions Throughout the session, which also helps keep students engaged.

Experience:

I have had 400+ hours of tutoring experience, with multiple students and their parents emailing me to say that I’ve been the only tutor who can make seemingly difficult concepts simple for them / their child.

Other Interests:

I played American Football at University. I enjoy playing squash, cooking and going to the gym. I am currently reading ‘The future of Capitalism’ by Paul Collier
